This blog was started in November 2015, as an attempt to bear witness to the global events that we are living through: November was the month in which the Paris attacks happened and a number of us realized that a Third World War had probably already started. This realisation, accompanied by the realization that media, academics, and politicians are quite active in reproducing clichés and ideologies, made us decide that the India Platform too needs to help in creating some space for alternative voices that truly challenge those clichés and ideologies.
India Platform team members have published articles here on subjects that are of global societal importance, such as identity politics in India, terrorism and the ideology of crime, and the problem of nationalism.
