Student Information session, Ghent University Hospital

This was an information session for students of the medical sciences who will be doing an internship at the M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital in Bangalore, India. This hospital is part of the Gokula Education Foundation (Medical), one of the most important Indian stakeholders of the India Platform.

The initiative for the internships was taken by Prof. Katharina D’Herde, Chair of the Anatomy and Embryology Group, Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Ghent University. Dr. Jakob De Roover presented the India Platform to the students. He then gave an overview of the living conditions in Bangalore and Karnataka more generally and of the unique opportunities the students would have during their stay in India.
