Lecture on the General Elections in India of 2014 for the Jong Socialisten (in Dutch)

Description: Dr. De Roover was invited to give a lecture on May 16 2014 on the general elections that had taken place in India in April. The results had just been declared: a landslide victory for the BJP. Dr. De Roover gave an analysis of the European perception of the Indian political landscape and showed how problematic this was. He then presented an alternative understanding of the problems of politics in contemporary India. There was an audience of about 25 students
