Prof. Balu speaks at the Global Hindu-Buddhist Initiative 2015: Conflict Avoidance and Environment Consciousness

The adherents of Buddhist and Hindu traditions account for more than one-fifth of the world’s population and are closely related to cultures like the Indian and the Japanese. The organisers of the conference believe that Asia can offer a new model and vision for a world order based on human cooperation, ethical behaviour, universal responsibility and prosperity of all groups. The audience consisted of selected invitees: high-level diplomats, politicians, academics, and experts from the military and intelligence sector. Prime Minister Modi and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sushma Swaraj were also present.
